Reversing drums
All of the industrial dryers stocked by Richard Jay are equipped with reversing drums – saving 7-10 minutes of drying time per load, while preventing knotting or balling of large items.
Axial airflow
Axial airflow is standard on our 6-37kg dryer range, providing the lowest possible energy usage and saving 20% versus radial airflow.
Moisture balance
This feature measures the exact moisture level throughout the drying process.
Compass Pro Control
The well-regarded Compass Pro Control is accessed via a digital screen control fitted across Richard Jay’s entire industrial dryer line-up. Not only has this control proven to be incredibly reliable against the test of time, but it’s simple to operate and intuitive.
Magnetic lock doors
Our entire Electrolux Professional range of dryers have magnetic door locks as standard. This feature is superior to traditional door catches that are frequently used by competitors and often need replacement.
Lint drawers
Lint drawers are standard across our Electrolux Professional TD6 range from 6-37kg. This feature allows for the easy cleaning of lint, which results in more frequent lint removal that optimises energy efficiency.
Airflower dampers
Our popular on-premise-laundry dryers (OPL) – including the TD6-16/20/30/37 models – are all equipped with airflow dampers. Considering all site ducting varies, we calibrate static back pressure upon installation to best suit your site’s ducting installation. This maximises evaporation while minimising energy costs.
Front rollers
Front roller features allow a three-point support system for the basket, compared to a one-point support used by competitors. This additional support ensures long life and simple maintenance for your industrial dryer.
Top-duct exhaust kits
While not standard, top-duct exhaust kits are available for the TD-16/20/30/37 models. This feature is already equipped on the TD6-17S and TD6-24S models. Top-duct exhaust allows for simple duct installation and a cleaner walkway behind your dryers for simple maintenance. This option improves health and safety standards on your site and is a great option for laundries that are short on space.
